With the move to electrification in full swing, things are going to get very exciting at Cronic Chrysler Dodge Jeep® Ram soon. One of the vehicles we’re most excited for is the first-ever Ram 1500 electric truck, and we’re even more excited now that we have a peek at what it might look like.
Ram revealed a pair of sketches of the Ram 1500 EV truck, which should break cover in full by next year. The all-electric Ram is set to arrive in 2024, which will be followed by more electric vehicles in 2025 and a fully electric portfolio by 2030.
Because it’s still a long way away, Ram has only teased us with what this truck will be able to do. So far, the brand is promising more towing power than the F-150 Lightning and Silverado EV offer as well as up to 500 miles of driving range on a single charge. It’s also been suggested that Ram could offer its electric truck with a gas-powered range extender to give drivers more confidence over long distances.
Ram is putting the power in the hands of the people with the Ram Revolution. If you sign up to join, you’ll get the chance to offer your input and tell Ram what you want to see in an electric truck.
